Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LedgerQ platform, including the web application, APIs, and related services (the "Service"), operated by LedgerQ. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when registering and are responsible for safeguarding your credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be authorized to act on behalf of the organization you register.

2. Free trial

New organizations may start a free trial. The trial runs for the period shown at signup and requires no payment card. We may change trial length or features. At the end of the trial you may subscribe to a paid plan; otherwise access to paid features may be limited.

3. Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the Service, attempt to access other tenants' data, or probe security controls.
• Do not upload unlawful content or use the Service to violate applicable law or tax regulation.
• Do not resell or provide the Service to third parties except as permitted in writing.

4. Your data

You retain ownership of the data you submit. You grant LedgerQ a limited licence to process it solely to provide and improve the Service. Each tenant's data is isolated from other tenants. Handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Availability & changes

We aim for high availability but the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

6. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. On termination you may request an export of your data for a reasonable period.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, LedgerQ is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. LedgerQ is accounting software, not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, or legal advice.
